My First Picture Applique

In the past I have done small shape applique, but nothing major. I was inspired to do the major when my daughter spilt some grape juice all over the front of these cute jammies.

I found a Sun Bonnet Sue pattern at the library and cut out the pieces from some scraps I had. I did it all by hand and was so impressed at how well it all came out! Now, I've got a few other shirts around here with stains on them... This may be the start of something.
