Happy Mothers Day!

I hope that all the mothers out there had a wonderful Mothers Day!

Last night my husband took the kids and I out for Sushi! I LOVE SUSHI! It was a complete surprise. We got a bunch of different appetizers and had fun passing them around, sharing and trying different dishes. And of course Mommy got a big plate of Sushi just for herself! I know it was a totally different experience for the kids and I was afraid they wouldn't want to try anything new or different. They can be quiet the finicky eaters. But they really had fun trying new dishes and talking about what they did and didn't like.

Today, I enjoyed a nice peaceful day with the kids. We just kind of lounged around the house. My daughter and husband made Cabbage Stew for dinner - so I didn't have to cook. I LOVE Cabbage Stew, but haven't had it for so long cause no one else likes cabbage. Although, everyone did eat some and said it was really good.

What touched my heart the most today was this candle and card my son made for me.

How sweet! It's great that your kids are open-minded about stuff like sushi!
