JC Penny’s has a new rewards program where you earn points for shopping. When you have collected 250 points, you will receive a printable coupon for $10 off anything. You can earn 1 point per dollar spent, however, right now until 12/31/08 you can earn double points. That means you will have to spend $125 dollars to get a $10 coupon. Not the greatest deal but maybe if you do all your shopping at JC Penny’s or are shopping for several kids where you might reach that amount sooner. The good thing is you can collect points on all sale priced or regular priced items in the store, www.jcp.com or in the catalog. You do not earn points for clearance items. The downfall that I really don’t like is, if you don’t earn 250 points within the month – you loose them and have to start all over again.
Macy’s has a 20% coupon in their ad this week. Actually, they have had this same 20% off coupon in their ad for the past few weeks so keep an eye out for it. What is great about this coupon is you can use it on anything! Even clearance items.
Target – This week only, until 8/16/08, when you spend $50 on back to school fashions you will receive a free $10 Target gift card. This offer includes men’s women’s and kids 4-16 apparel, shoes, jewelry and handbags. Clearance items are not included in this offer and you can do one offer per transaction.
Elder Beerman - This week only, until 8/16/08 when you bring in your used denim jeans you will receive a coupon for 20% off your next pair of regular or sale priced denim jeans.
Limited Too – Limited Too currently has a special Too Bucks promotion. When you spend $50 you will receive 2 $25 Too Bucks and 2 $15 Bonus Too Bucks, for a total of $80 Too Bucks! I love the fact that you get more back than what you spent. The initial $50 includes clearance items and you can use your Too Bucks on clearance items. I also received an email to save 25% off my purchase, including markdowns. I don't think you can use the Too Bucks and the 25% off coupon together, but you can use the 25% off coupon on the initial $50. The $25 Too Bucks are redeemable when you spend $50 for a 50% savings and the $15 Too Bucks are redeemable when you spend $40.
Gymboree has the same kind of deal going on as Limited Too. You can earn $25 Gymbucks for every $50 you spend. Gymbucks are redeemed when you spend $50 for an immediate 50% savings (not including the savings from clearance or sale items).

great blog.......
Belk has a lot of clothes (summery for those in the southern states ;) on clearance, as does Macy's. I picked up a few nice tops really cheap this week at both places.
