I'm Ready To Bake!

So - with Krogers Mega 10 sale the past 2 weeks, I got a ton of baking supplies. I got Nestle Chocolate Chips of every kind imaginable for $1 a bag, FREE Carnation Evaporated Milk, Eagle Brand Condensed Milk for $.50 cents a can, Apple Pie Filling for $1 a can, 5 lb bags of sugar, powder sugar and brown sugar for $1. per bag. Oh yeah, and Libbys Pumpkin Pie for $.50 a can (those were actually from Walgreens, not Kroger).

This week Meijer had McCormick spices on sale, 33% off. Doing the triple dip, I combined that sale with the $2 & $1 McCormick coupons that came out recently AND $1/2 Meijer Meal Box coupons. I got everything below for $13.09 (a total savings of over $45 dollars!!).

Uh yeah, that's EIGHTEEN bottles of spices! Everything from nut meg, all spice, pumpkin pie spice, garlic seasoning, peppercorns and more! I still can't believe I got all those spices (and the few other things) for just $13 bucks!

So...now I am ready to bake something. But what? I usually only bake in the winter while hibernating and I've never gotten so many deals on all these baking supplies before - so I feel a little overwhelmed with the possibilities.

I'm thinking I want to make a Pumpkin Roll. That seems to be a challenge I need right now because it looks really hard to roll the roll. They are also having a killer deal on Philadelphia cream cheese this week at Kroger so that would go perfect for the filling.

We will see....

I missed the coupons on McCormicks, except the meal box one. Where did you find it again? I feel like I need to replace some of my stocks. I missed the chocolate chips too.

You have a good looking stock-up for baking.
