I got my free Kroger shopping bags today!

I got my 4 free reusable shopping bags today. They retailed for $2.99 each. I got 3 of them free for buying 3 bags of Doritos (used $3/2 Frito Lay coupon from the Pepsi rebate) and bought 6 - 12 pks of Diet Pepsi that was on sale for 3/$8. The Diet Pepsi was a good deal anyways, so thought I would take advantage of the offer and stock up on Diet Pepsi and get my free shopping bags. That's it - encourage me to drink more Diet Pepsi - like I need to be drinking so much pop anyways - but that's a topic for another day. I got the 4th one free for designing my own shopping bag online. Anyways ....

These Kroger shopping bags are great! They are really big and hold 3 time more stuff than one of the plastic bags. They are easy to carry and sit nicely in the car - opposed to the plastic bags that just kind of flop all over the place. There is also a plastic insert in the bottom of them to make them more sturdy. They even have a small zipper pouch on the inside of them - not sure what I would use that for yet - but it's a nice touch and might come in handy.

Now, the only problem I can see is actually remembering to take them to the store with me.
